This is to announce that the PRO of Australian Visayan Multicultural Communties Inc (AUSVISAYAN MCI) Ms. Ethel Singzon was elected recently as the number one director of the Philippine Community Council of New South Wales Inc (PCC NSW Inc) during its annual general meeting and election held on 14 March 2015 at The Hub, Mount Druit, New South Wales.
PCC NSW Inc is the umbrella body of the Filipino Australian community associations in NSW. Under its constitution, seven (7) directors will be elected annually.
There were nine (9) official candidates running for PCC NSW directors and Ethel won the number one spot. It is Ethel’s first time to be nominated at PCC NSW. She was nominated by AUSVISAYAN Chairperson Ronaldo Villaver.
PCC NSW Director Ethel Singzon expresses its thanks to the presidents of the affiliate organisations of PCC NSW for giving her the support and the opportunity to serve the Filipino Australians in NSW.
